Part Two of the program will begin in October as a 12-week Business Incubator designed to provide entrepreneurs with hands-on support in launching, operating, and strengthening their businesses. Participants will receive practical guidance in business operations, marketing, financial management, customer engagement, and strategic planning.

This phase will place a strong emphasis on using technology, automation, and artificial intelligence to streamline everyday operations, improve productivity, reach customers, make informed business decisions, and effectively manage and grow their ventures after launch. Throughout the 12 weeks, participants will work on their own businesses, applying what they learn to build a stronger foundation for sustainable growth and long-term success.

Getting Future Ready at Saturday Live

Saturday Live is Expanding Its Impact on Youth by being “Future Ready”  

Starting in October of this year, Saturday Live continues to grow as a place where families come together for connection, encouragement, and meaningful experiences. This youth program is held every second Saturday from October through June.

Through a powerful new partnership with Fresh Start Ministries, the program now offers Future Ready, an engaging initiative designed to equip children, youth, and families with the skills, confidence, and support they need to thrive in today’s world.

Future Ready brings a dynamic blend of hands-on learning, creative expression, and real-life skill development into the Saturday Live experience. Through activities such as interactive workshops, theater arts, leadership development, and practical life lessons, participants are encouraged to discover their strengths and build confidence in a supportive, family-centered environment. This collaboration allows both organizations to combine their strengths, creating a program that is not only educational, but also inspiring and transformational.

At its core, Future Ready is about preparation and purpose. It helps young people and families navigate real-life challenges while building essential skills for the future, including communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and personal responsibility. The program also integrates faith-based encouragement, helping participants develop strong values, resilience, and a sense of direction that extends beyond the classroom.

By partnering together, Saturday Live and Fresh Start Ministries are creating more than just a program, they are building a pathway for growth, opportunity, and lasting impact. Future Ready stands as a reflection of what can happen when organizations unite with a shared mission: to strengthen families, empower individuals, and prepare the next generation for a brighter future.

With Gratitude and Love, We Honor Brenda With Many Years of Service

From the One Accord family, celebrating a life of service and a legacy that will never be forgotten.

From the entire One Accord family, we share this announcement with both gratitude and heartfelt emotion. After many years of faithful and dedicated service, Brenda has made the decision to retire. For over a decade as Executive Director, along with her years as a volunteer and Program Administrator, she has been more than a leader—she has been a steady presence, a source of wisdom, and a true example of what it means to serve with love and purpose.

Brenda has been a true blessing to our organization and the community we serve. Through her leadership, she has helped shape programs, strengthen relationships, and create opportunities where hope and growth could flourish. Her willingness to serve, often behind the scenes, reflects a heart devoted to making a difference and uplifting others.

Scripture reminds us of the value of a life poured out in service:
“Well done, good and faithful servant… you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things” (Matthew 25:21).

Brenda’s life and leadership embody this truth, as she has faithfully stewarded every opportunity to serve with excellence and care.

 

We are also reminded in Galatians 6:9, “Let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” Brenda’s years of dedication have produced a harvest seen in the lives of the many individuals and families she has impacted.

She has touched the lives of so many families and hundreds of children, not just through programs, but through genuine care, encouragement, and compassion. Her impact cannot be measured in words alone. It is seen in the confidence of the children she supported, the strength of the families she uplifted, and the foundation she helped build for all of us to continue forward.

As she steps into this next chapter of her life, she will truly be missed. Her presence, her voice, and her heart for this work have been a blessing to us all. Yet, we celebrate knowing that her legacy lives on in everything she has poured into this organization and the community.

From all of us at One Accord, we thank you, Brenda. We honor you. And we pray that this new season brings you the same joy, peace, and fulfillment that you have given so freely to others.

Celebrating a Year Full of Learning at the Woodlynne School

As New York City celebrates its champions with ticker-tape parades and cheering crowds, a special group of champions traveled from New York to Woodlynne, New Jersey, to create a celebration of their own for the children of the One Accord Learning Center.

On Thursday, June 18th, a group of caring volunteers arrived at Woodlynne School from the Lider Alfa organization with smiles, excitement, and hearts full of generosity. Dressed as beloved characters, they brought a day of fun and encouragement to the forty students participating in One Accord's Learning Center.

The celebration was filled with laughter, games, music, snacks, drinks, and piñatas overflowing with candy. Each child also received a backpack packed with educational supplies, recreational items, and toys to help make their summer brighter and more enjoyable.

As the school year came to a close, the event provided an opportunity to celebrate the accomplishments of the students and remind them just how loved and valued they are. The joy on the faces of the children was priceless. Their smiles, laughter, and excitement created memories that will last long after the final school bell rang.

The volunteers from One Accord and our special friends from New York will always hold a special place in our hearts. Their kindness, generosity, and willingness to invest in the lives of our children made a meaningful impact on everyone involved.

We are already looking forward to our next adventure together. Our hope is that next year we can extend this blessing even further and bring the same joy, fun, entertainment, and encouragement to all 400 students of Woodlynne School.

Thank you to our New York friends for reminding our children that they are seen, valued, and loved. Your kindness is helping inspire hope and create brighter futures for the next generation.

Celebrating a Year of Achievement at the Woodlynne School

A Cool Treat for a Job Well Done

A hot June day topped off with an ice-cold water ice!

As the school year ended in June 2026, One Accord and its dedicated volunteers had the privilege of celebrating the students of the Woodlynne School with a special end-of-year treat. More than 250 children enjoyed water ice as we recognized their hard work, perseverance, and accomplishments throughout the school year. The excitement was so great that we completely ran out!

This event was more than just a sweet treat. It was an opportunity to connect with students and families, celebrate a job well done, and thank the entire school community for a successful year. We believe every child deserves to be recognized for their efforts, and it was a joy to see so many smiling faces.

As we look ahead, exciting things are on the horizon. Beginning this September, One Accord's will be expanding its outreach and bringing educational support, mentoring, and enrichment opportunities to even more children and families.

Throughout the summer, One Accord will continue hosting community outreach events across Camden County as we share our mission of bringing hope, opportunity, and support to local families. We are committed to helping children discover their potential and creating pathways for success both inside and outside the classroom.

The Learning Center at Woodlynne School truly is the place to be, and we look forward to meeting many more families in the months ahead.
