As New York City celebrates its champions with ticker-tape parades and cheering crowds, a special group of champions traveled from New York to Woodlynne, New Jersey, to create a celebration of their own for the children of the One Accord Learning Center.

On Thursday, June 18th, a group of caring volunteers arrived at Woodlynne School from the Lider Alfa organization with smiles, excitement, and hearts full of generosity. Dressed as beloved characters, they brought a day of fun and encouragement to the forty students participating in One Accord's Learning Center.

The celebration was filled with laughter, games, music, snacks, drinks, and piñatas overflowing with candy. Each child also received a backpack packed with educational supplies, recreational items, and toys to help make their summer brighter and more enjoyable.

As the school year came to a close, the event provided an opportunity to celebrate the accomplishments of the students and remind them just how loved and valued they are. The joy on the faces of the children was priceless. Their smiles, laughter, and excitement created memories that will last long after the final school bell rang.

The volunteers from One Accord and our special friends from New York will always hold a special place in our hearts. Their kindness, generosity, and willingness to invest in the lives of our children made a meaningful impact on everyone involved.

We are already looking forward to our next adventure together. Our hope is that next year we can extend this blessing even further and bring the same joy, fun, entertainment, and encouragement to all 400 students of Woodlynne School.
